Strategic Goals
- Strengthen, enrich and diversify the cultural, social and recreational life in Fairfield County
- Participate as a key stakeholder in promoting Bridgeport’s economic recovery
- Increase capacity to provide need based academic scholarships for Fairfield County students
- Build strong partnerships between NVIDC and public school administrators and teachers in Connecticut that will support collaboration among students, teachers, parents and administrators
Our Challenges
- Identifying and attracting members for a volunteer Board who are prepared to make significant contributions in time and finances to the organization’s progress
- Implementing extensive and effective fund-raising strategies
- Expanding program development and undertaking new initiatives in the face of apparent limited human, financial and physical resources
